People I’ve mentioned a lot.

Romantic pursuits
Garry - The boyfriend. He makes me very, very happy. Happier than I thought was ever possible. He’s funny, he likes the same geeky stuff that I do, he’s smart, and he plays the cornet and percussion like a bitch. He’s truly wonderful.

TVNE - An ex boyfriend I had when I was 13. He wasn’t very nice to me, and he absoloutely terrifies me.

The Ex - A man who lived hours away from me and was much older than me that I had to keep a secret from my parents. Our break up was horrifying, the aftermath was over a year long, but now we don’t speak.

Ben – My boyfriend after TVNE who basically saved me from being a recluse and made me back into the person I was before

Friends
Stephy – My best friend through college. Blonde, ditzy, and capable of making me laugh so hard I hurt.

Sarah W – A talented singer, and always good for a long chat and a gossip.

Sarah J - The girl who forced me to revise for my French A Level. She’s the reason I got a B.

Sophie - A smart, clever girl with a wicked sense of humour and a filthy laugh. Now a med student, and one of my favourite people in the universe.

Tim - The asexual genius who forced me to revise for my French A Level. He’s the reason I didn’t give up.

Misc. Friends
Adam - A fellow writer, who ran the writing enrichment at college. Once we started chatting, we kept doing so for several months. He works with me at the shop, and so went spent November 2008 to April 2009 talking and working together pretty much all the time. He sings in a band, talks very fast, and is very funny.

Katy - A girl who was in my theatre group with me several years back. She’s lovely, an amazingly talented artist, and slightly obsessed with most TV programmes.

Shop friends
Sam - My boss at the shop. We didn’t get on at first, due to my not being able to understand that her habit of pouring abuse at people all day is her way of making friends. We went to Newquay together for her birthday along with a group of others. She’s transferred shop now, and is Adam’s girlfriend.

Nicole - The shop lesbian. Into “fit women”, games where you blow people up, and drinking. Despite this, we got on very well. Studying law at University now.

Mike - My manager. Possibly the best manager in the world. The reason I took the shop job. The reason I’m still there.

Adam - My assistant manager. He has a Yorkshire accent, even though he’s from Nottingham.

Sky – The chav where I work. Another person who pours abuse on you to show you that you’re friends.

Family
Mum – Utterly insane, a fan of making things up to shout at me about, X Factor and dancing. I got my eyes and my compassion from her.

Dad - Utterly insane, a fan of locking himself away in the study and playing Bejewelled all evening, the saxophone, and sarcasm. I got my intelligence and wit from him.

Nan - A lovely, kind, scary looking woman with a heart of gold who makes you want to rip her face off within minutes of meeting her.
