Day Thirty

I went to a gig tonight.
Adam’s gig. He was absolutely fantastic. I screamed so hard that I now can’t really hear anything. The guy is a natural on stage, and his band mates all obviously love music. Plus, the guitarist was gorgeous
But I’m left feeling…flat. Low. Sad. I think I know why, but [...]

Celebration

I have a whole funny post planned about washing out the Henna, but…
I GOT INTO WARWICK UNIVERSITY!

Day Twenty Nine

I had a lovely day out with Coco and Sam from work today. We met at about half twelve, and went to Coventry to go to IKEA and to Lush.
The big news today is that Sam, the current senior sales, has an interview next week for an assistant manager position. If she gets this, that [...]

Day Twenty Eight

I smoked a quarter of a cigarette for today’s 365. Not even smoked, I sucked the end and blew the smoke straight back out as soon as the shutter had gone, but my mouth tastes bloody disgusting. How on EARTH do smokers do this?
I went to a concert tonight that my mum was dancing in. [...]

Day Twenty Seven

On the photo website I’m a member of, there’s a group I actively participate in. It’s called Flickr Group Roulette, and basically it chooses a different theme each day, and people take pictures to that theme.
Recently, it’s started getting involved in charity work. For example, they did a calendar of the best shots with all [...]

Day Twenty Six

I’m sitting here with black eye make-up on so that I look like a panda, but with the addition of gold lipstick/lip gloss.
The things I do for photos…
I wasn’t at work today. It’s been a lovely, lazy day – watching DVDs and cleaning things. It’s the kind of day that I should have more frequently [...]

Day Twenty Five

Gah. GAH.
One of the people closest to me in the world is going through such a crappy time, literally breaking down in front of me…and there is nothing I can do. I think I’m helping a little, by being there, by talking to him and listening to him, but I just can’t help him. I [...]

Day Twenty Four

Damn, I’ve been busy.
Last night was a late, emotional night. Today was an emotional day. Started off blissfully happy, then got into a huge argument with my dad about my flat tyre, went to get said tire fixed/replaced and just got it repared, became once more ecstatic when we went through an automatic carwash (I [...]

Day Twenty Three

I’ve spent today talking, and thinking, and getting angry. Very, very angry. But it’s good, poetry-and-fiction-and-photograph inducing anger, and I feel better for having felt it. And more forgiving. And much less angry.
Talking of poems…last night, Adam and I were swopping writing. I ended up showing him some poems that I’d written, including one that [...]

Day Twenty Two

My tripod arrived today
The majority of today, actually, was spent trying to set up, capture, and edit to my satisfaction the following photo:

I took about 300 shots in total, and pulled a calf muscle in my upper right thigh. I then spent hours going mad over the editing.
But still. I think it was [...]
