I’m covering for our assistant manager at the moment, so I’m working a six-day three-evening week, as well as playing in bands or scouting out new ones.
Just to let you know why I’m a bit quiet.

Love and hate
I got an e-mail from The Ex today. Basically, he’d read the Blog, heard about the crash, and was worried for me.
I’m really confused now.
Whenever there’s someone who I know I really shouldn’t care about, I do. Whenever I have someone I really should care about, I don’t.
I need someone who is going to put [...]

Weird crush
Is it weird that I find Sylar from heroes really, really, really attractive?

Bad news
The other two cars I was in the accident called today.
One will need £1350 to fix.
The other will need £235.
The first only needed a headlight fixed, and the second only needed the bumper replacing. How is it that much? We’re hoping hoping hoping that the garage they were sent to doesn’t realise we’re paying for [...]

Making my decision harder
Sitting at home feeling sorry for myself, I heard my phone ring.
“Hey, Amy, it’s Adam, I just need you to sort out an argument with me and AssMan Adam”
“Okay, what’s up…?”
“Do you or do you not live on a street named after an author?”
“Yes, Rowling Road*”
“HA! Okay, thanks, byyeeee!”
Minutes later, there was a ring at [...]

Flashbacks
It’s not often I have a double flashback.
I was sitting crossed legged on the floor sorting out Wii games, when a customer came up to me to ask me a question. He crouched down next to me, asked me about Wii Music, and left. But it was the look on his face that reminded me [...]

A mixed day
It’s been a good and bad day.
Good: It was a Friday at work, so that meant I’d have at least one friend there.
Bad: I had a Very Nasty Ex flashback, which I’ll type up in detail a bit later.
Good: Adam, bless him, asked me to go on my break with him at the same time. [...]

Rainy Thursday
“What I’ve got they used to call the blues.
Nothing’s really wrong,
I’m just feeling like I don’t belong.
I’m hanging around, with nothing to do but frown.
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down”
It’s my day off today, and it’s been fairly relaxing.
I’ve been taking advantage of the quiet house, and watched far too much TV and [...]

My job
There are many, many things I like and dislike about my job.
I hate the fact that parking is £4.30 a day, for example.
I hate that I’m also spending about £30 a week on petrol.
I hate working in the week, when ManagerMike/BossAdam are always busy doing admin stuff so I’m stuck with a guy who I [...]
