A Very Good Day

It’s been a good day :-)

I have done quite a lot of revision today. If nothing else I’ve finished Political Ideologies – woo! There’s quite a lot to go, but I’m getting through it slowly. Veeeeery slowly.

I’ve decided that when I get a bit more time, I’m going to make a Philosophy website. Everything I learn, in my private reading and in my Philosophy courses,  I am going to put on this website. It’ll do two things. One, it’ll help me revise. Two, it’ll help loads of other people out there who are struggling because my website will have things in simple language that’s easy to understand, which a lot of textbooks lack. It’s already a bloody difficult subject to get one’s head round – why make it even more complicated?

The second bit of goodness is that the manager from the Brewery/Bar where Stephy works rang me up today; I start Sunday! I’ll start out working Thursdays and Sundays in June! Yayness! I have a job with people that I know are nice, because Stephy likes them! :-) Plus it’s far less hours, so I’ll be less stressed than I was at the hell hole that is Dobbies Garden World…

Finally, my car is fixeded :-) Going to pick it up tomorrow, yay!

Anyway. I’m off to revise again. Got to get started on “Law”, woot woot…

  • creating a website is a very good idea Amy. if you can create something like this http://thinksimplenow.com/, you dont need to work at any other garden center in future. Ads on website will earn enough for you.

  • :-) I don’t think I’ll be trying to get paid for hosting it … definitely not yet. I just want to do it for fun, really.

  • Yay you – goooooooooo Amy! Yeah!

p.s. My blog gets hit about 200 times a day on OU stuff alone – there’s obviously a need for sites that discuss course material in detail.

Yay you! Again. Just because. Yay!

  • Wooo!

Thank you, Bren my dear. Yay you, too, just because you’re fab!

  • Hey, I was just talking about future career choices with a friend of mine and she’s considering philosophy. Email me the link when you make he site, maybe she’ll be interested.

  • Tell her to take it; it’s brilliant! And I definitely will, thanks for commenting :-)
