I went out for a meal last night. It was a friend’s birthday, so 7 of us went to a local pub (local for them – it’s a 20 minute drive for me. It’s bloody awkward living so far away sometimes
)
Anyway. I spent most of the evening talking to Sarah W about love, life and the Universe, and the rest of it wetting myself at stories from their Secondary School days. In one way, it was extremely funny hearing about the tricks they played on their teachers (such as one day, when she was out of the room, reversing the entire classroom round) but I felt kind of sad too. People in my school did exactly the same to our teachers, and none of us really spared a thought for the poor person at the front of the class. To us they were just our enemy, they were rubbish teachers, they went crazy over the silliest things … we never really thought that they could be upset by what we did.
But anyway. It was a really fantastic night, had a really good catch up with Sarah, and we’ve decided to spend a bit more time together, which’ll be nice
I’m having a total chill out day today after the hectic week of exam revision and constant stressing. I’m about to go and snuggle up in bed with the Sims 2
Tata!

Wow. Here where I live 20 minutes drive is considered “almost down the street”. If you need less than 40 minutes in traffic to go somewhere, it’s local!

I do live in a quite small town, though…
